Stock valuation is the process of determining the intrinsic value of a share of common stock of a company for the purpose of identifying overvalued and undervalued stocks. There are two approaches to stock valuation: (a) absolute valuation i.e. the discounted cashflow method and (b) relative valuation (also called the comparables approach). This study evaluates the performance of stock price indexes in the Indonesia Stock Exchange by using Sharpe Index, Treynor Ratio, Jensen Alpha, Adjusted Sharpe Index, Adjusted Jensen Index and Sortino Ratio.
